Saudia adds bellyhold capacity on passenger routes
Saudia plans add bellyhold cargo services on routes to Munich and Maldives, its new passenger destination, in the coming weeks, the airline said in a statement.
Saudia added that services to Ankara will start in the last quarter of 2016.
Passenger bellyhold space of up to 30 tonnes will be available on the carrier’s Boeing 777 and Airbus A320/A330 passenger aircraft serving the new routes.
Nabil Khojah, chief executive at Saudia Cargo, said the new destinations will contribute to achieving the Middle East carrier’s objective of reaching new markets.
Saudia Cargo operates a fleet of dedicated freighters and utilises bellyhold-capacity on the passenger aircraft operated by the flag carrier, spanning a rapidly expanding global network.
The airline also provides worldwide cargo charter solutions.
