FedEx Express targets MENA in new SMEs campaign
FedEx Express has launched a new global advertising campaign designed to inspire local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to grow their businesses globally using the international services offered by FedEx.
The campaign by FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp and one of the largest express transportation companies in the world, tells empowering stories that will resonate with SMEs in the Middle East.
At the center of the campaign are two videos showcasing SMEs—Banana Fish shoes and House of Hosoo fabric design—as they go on an imaginary journey of what international expansion could mean for their businesses.
The United Arab Emirates is one of the markets targeted by the campaign, says Fed Ex Express.
“In the UAE, the enterprise population comprises 95 per cent SMEs, which are responsible for 43 per cent of the country’s total workforce,” explains David Ross, regional president, FedEx Express Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa.
“SMEs face and overcome challenges every day in all aspects of their business. However, FedEx is there to take weight off their shoulders and enable them to expand their reach into global markets,” he adds. “We do this not only by providing reliable logistics but also by leveraging our considerable expertise in helping businesses navigate the complexities of global trade."
The campaign is present in 13 global markets, supported by initiatives designed to help SMEs expand into international markets. These include research on international trade trends among SMEs, insights and commentary on the topic of entrepreneurship, plus useful advices and resources on the FedEx Business Insights Hub.
