Arabian MEP wins Logistics City contract in Qatar

Arabian MEP has recently secured couple of infrastructure projects in Qatar worth more than QR150m ($41.2m).

Contracts include Logistics City for Milaha and new batch of substations for for public works authority Kahramaa .

Located at Thumama, Logistics City contract Package 5 & 5A consists of three large climate controlled facilities along with several other ancillary buildings spread out over aof 423,861m2 plot area.

Under the deal Arabian will carry out entire mechanical services and CCTV system including 2,214 tons of air cooled chiller HVAC, dehumidifiers, chilled water piping, pumps, ducting and air side equipments, fire fighting systems, water supply and drainage systems.

The entire contract is scheduled for completion in 16 months.

Arabian MEP has been entrusted by Kahramaa to carry out MEP works at more than 20 substations over a 20 month period.

Commenting on the contract wins, Vasanth Kumar CEO of Arabian MEP, said: “Due to the high level of expertise required to successfully complete MEP works in such Infrastructure substation projects, which Arabian MEP is known for, we were called in by the main contractors to undertake the contracts and it’s our privilege and honor to associate in such projects of national importance."
