Deadline looms for Aviation Business Awards nominations
There is a little under a fortnight left to submit nominations for the Aviation Business Awards, which is now in its ninth year and acknowledges the efforts of individuals, companies and organisations that have contributed to the growth of the aviation industry in the region.
The nomination deadline is Wednesday 19 August, 2015.
The awards recognise accomplishments in 15 different categories, including airlines, airports, cargo operators and MRO suppliers, who have contributed to making the Middle East aviation industry the envy of the world. For the first time, several categories have been included to aknowledge the achievements of non-Middle East based firms doing business in the region.
More than 200 top level executives are expected to attend the awards ceremony on the evening of 14 October 2015 at Dubai's Park Hyatt Dubai, in the Creek Ballroom.

Who can I nominate?
If the entry criteria are met for a particular category, you may nominate your own company, a supplier, a business partner or a client. Third party nominations as well as self nominations are accepted.
What is the programme for the evening (please note that the timings are approximate and subject to slight change on the night)?
19.30 – Registration and networking
20.00 – Ballroom doors open
20.15 – Starters served
20.30 – MC welcome
20.40 – First half awards commence
21.15 – Main course served
22.00 – Second half of awards
22.30 – Dessert served
23.00 – Event concludes
What is the dress code for the awards?
Business attire/national dress. Evening formals are optional.
I have been shortlisted for an award, do I need to book a ticket? How?
All attendees must book and pay for their tickets in order to attend the Awards. Table bookings and individual seat bookings can be made online on the awards website.
When shall I book my seats?
The earlier you book your tickets the more chance you have of getting the best seats in the required zone. A 5% discount is given for seats booked prior to the nomination deadline and a discount of 10% is given for bookings of 2 tables or more.
How many people does a table accommodate and do I have to purchase a full table?
A full table seats ten people. It is not necessary to purchase a full table, individual bookings are also accepted.
How can I pay for the seats?
