SEKO signs Middle East logistics partnership
SEKO is planning to reshuffle its Middle East operations and establish a network of warehouse facilities throughout the region.
The logistics company has formed a partnership with Centre Point Logistics, part of Saleh Saeed Lootah Holdings, which is currently building a portfolio of warehouse assets in the Middle East.
Dubai has been selected for the first development, which measures 100,000m2 and will be located in Jebel Ali Free Zone.
The facility will adopt SEKO's global operating system, SEKO Red Global, which is designed to provide clients with realtime information on shipping and inventory, together with instant quotes for additional logistics services.
"This change will produce the expertise and infrastructure that is needed to better serve customers in the Dubai area and beyond, in addition to augmenting our business with an established partner that will grow the SEKO brand," said Brent Pearson, managing partner of SEKO Dubai.
"Being part of Saleh Saeed Lootah Holdings, SEKO is aligned with one of Dubai's most reputable and enduring businesses. This will significantly contribute to the capability and service offerings of the SEKO network in the United Arab Emirates. We are also working with our fellow partners to secure additional premises in major Middle East logistics hubs," he added.
