River ferry sinks in Bangladesh
A ferry carrying up to 200 passengers has sank in rough conditions on a river in central Bangladesh, reports Gulf News.
So far rescue teams have pulled 100 people out of the water and recoverd two dead bodies.
The rest of the passengers are currently missing and survivors have reported that the ferry was overloaded with more passengers than the ferry could safely transport.
Ferry accidents are common in Bangladesh and with August being monsoon season, the ship is now completely submerged.
