Artificial perception pioneer AEye announced it will showcase advanced perception capabilities that will accelerate the development and deployment of ADAS and autonomous vehicles at CES 2020. AEye and its solution partners ANSYS, Infineon, Tata Elxsi and Aisin will demonstrate how AEye’s AI-driven iDAR platform acts as a platform for perception innovation, helping automotive OEMs and tier 1s address the toughest corner cases and bring safe, reliable autonomous features to the market.

Continuing its tradition of finding fun and innovative ways to highlight iDAR’s world class advancements, AEye’s booth will feature a basketball challenge, wherein attendees take their best shot, and iDAR’s real-time motion forecasting will predict in real-time whether the free throw will hit the backboard, rim, or “nothing but net.” AEye’s booth will also feature interactive and experiential displays showcasing how partners are integrating and extending iDAR, how iDAR solves some of the most challenging corner cases, and how iDAR’s unique AI-driven architecture enables the system to predict behavior.

Companies developing automated and autonomous vehicle systems recognize that AEye’s software-definable iDAR artificial perception platform produces unprecedented classification at speed and range, motion forecasting and collision avoidance capabilities due to its unique acquisition, interpretation, and management of data. At CES, AEye’s growing ecosystem of global partners will showcase how they are leveraging AEye’s platform to advance safe, reliable autonomy.

Highlights from partner booths include:

AISIN: Demonstration of iDAR-enabled AISIN Enhanced Driver Awareness System. LVCC - AISIN booth #8509
ANSYS: Demonstration of AEye iDAR technology using the VRXPERIENCE and SPEOS elements of ANSYS Autonomy that showcases hazard detection in a virtual world. LVCC - ANSYS booth 3310 and AEye booth 7538
Infineon: Showcasing sensor fusion of Infineon’s AURIX TC35xx microcontroller into AEye’s iDAR platform. Westgate Pavilion - Infineon booth #1700 and LVCC - AEye booth #7538
TATA ELXSI: Demonstrating RoboTaxi, Tata Elxsi’s in-house concept demonstrator vehicle developed using AEye’s iDAR platform and Tata Elxsi’s autonomous stack. Westgate Smart City Pavilion - Tata Elxsi booth #1301 and LVCC - AEye booth #7538
“This is an exciting time, with disruptive innovation happening throughout the automotive sector that will forever transform how people and goods will move from point A to point B,” said Blair LaCorte, president of AEye. “This year at CES, we are excited to showcase the incredible advancements in our iDAR perception platform, and how our partners are embracing and extending iDAR to accelerate innovation, and the availability of autonomous features.”
